Eben Asante to represent MTN Group at Africa CEOs Forum

Ghana’s Ebenezer Twum Asante who is currently the Senior Vice President for Markets at MTN Group will be representing the group at this years Africa CEO Forum slated for 13-14 June 2022, in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

He will be among over 800 CEO of African and international leading companies expected at the forum.

MTN is also a diamond sponsor for the event among a group of 14 in that category of sponsors, which include the likes of Societe Generale, Huawei, Orange, Maersk and others.

Founded in 2012, the Africa CEO Forum is an annual gathering of decision-makers from the largest African companies, as well as international investors, multinational executives, heads of state, ministers, and representatives of the main financial institutions operating on the continent.

As a platform for high-level business meetings and a place to share experiences and to identify trends that affect the business world, the Africa CEO Forum is committed to offering concrete and innovative solutions to help the continent and its companies move forward.

This year’s forum will address the theme reconnect, reboot and reshare and will mobilise leading CEOs, investors, heads of state and ministers to outline new paths to African growth.

The two days of 40 conferences, debates and high-level meetings are dedicated to highlighting the driving role of the private sector in the development of the continent. At least, 150 speakers are expected to make presentations at the forum.

Some 1,500 participants from 70 countries are expected at this years event, co-hosted by International Finance Corporation (IFC) of the World Bank.

Additionally, 800 plus CEOs, 100 government leaders and policy makers, 150 global investments firms, and at least 145 journalists will be attending what is described as the largest gathering of CEOs on the continent.
