Harmony OS will bring you a new smart user experience – Huawei CEO

After the annual Huawei conference, Huawei Consumer Business Group CEO, Richard Yu presented the summary of the event and expressed his gratitude to Huawei consumers around the globe.

“It is because of you, support, and help, we have strengthened faith and worked hard to move forward, our consumers are our best ambassador,” said Richard

Additionally, Richard said that Hongmeng OS (HarmonyOS) will create an unprecedented full-scenario smart life for everyone. HarmonyOS can be used not only for smart screens and smartwatches but also for smartphones and more hardware devices.

Introduced at Huawei Developer Conference 2019, HarmonyOS is Huawei’s self-developed operating system that is developed to provide a seamless cross-device user experience. After the launch, the HarmonyOS initially launched with smart screen smart TVs.

At HDC 2020, Huawei added more platform support for HarmonyOS including smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, and in-car systems as well as third-party IoT devices.

On January 23, at the consumer event, Wang Chenglu, President of Huawei Consumer Business Software also showcased the four real-world demonstrations of the HarmonyOS and its wireless interconnection with supported devices.

In 2021, Huawei has planned to launch a number of smartphones with HarmonyOS and aiming to install this OS in 300-400 million smart devices by the end of this year.
